In 1976 Jack White became the Official Texas State Artist. By the end of the millennium he was a master oil painter. An auto accident in 1989 forced Jack to learn to paint with his left hand. In 1996 he accepted the challenge to write a book for artists on marketing their work. Since then he has written five major art marketing books, which are considered by those who have read them the best ever. Jack has completed two murder mysteries; a third is partially finished. Currently he is working on an epic historical novel set in the Republic of Texas between 1835 and 1845. In addition he has been commissioned to write the official story of the Arena Football League.
